Up for grabs.

This one looks hard and qual-uh-tay.

Don't let this one slip away, it looks TOO good. smiley

Family day.

Sunday, Molly was jonesin' for some pebbles, so we packed up the pads and went looking for some beginner climbs.

Get Psyched!

Another shot from Saturday...fuel for motivation...

After assessing the day, it turns out we did around 20 new problems, which brings the total up to around 60 or 70 problems/projects in Northern Bourbons...not a bad start...guess I need to break out the gps soon...

Cheers,

Tom

stupid job keeps me from bouldering

all hail the Batholith Bouldering Gods.....or whatever. All ye pebble pinchers should plan on crushing some more stone this weekend.

More from the Northern Bourbons...

Saturday was great. Very cool to meet Justin and Levi, the motivation was high, and the temps were perfect. Hopefully we'll be able to score a few more weekends that high in elevation before the snow sets in...

Should be getting a couple of synths done today as well...

Once again, it was a rad day. Hopefully we can keep up the psyche!

Cheers,

Tom

Bourbon Saturday

Photobucket
What a fine day--beautiful weather and enthusiastic, strong climbers got together to explore new pebbles and projects. The Montana bouldering community grew closer when Levi and Justin ventured from their Missoula base to meet with myself and the crew from Bozeman.

I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Let's try the photo insert thing again.

More Northern Bourbons

It WAS chilly Wednesday morning, but with a few hours to kill, I managed to roam some and finished perusing the N. Bourbon sector. Snow pack was scant and on its way out for the weekend.

Here are a few finds by myself and the crew which need "sendation".

Two synths from the Bourbons

Pulled together a few synths from the last couple sessions. One from last weekend, and one from the Single Barrels...

The weather outlook is pretty positive, hopefully this weekend will yield some goodness...

Another synth from the Northern Bourbons:

Intro and Northern Bourbons

Finally went with a blog...after posting various tr's on the supertopo, it seemed to make more sense just to post in one place...easier to keep track of the posts a bit more.

Lately we've been doing alot of climbing in the Northern Bourbons, turns out Homaster checked out the boulders a few years back in an effort to find the Bourbons proper...funny how things work like that. The progress has been going well with an estimated 40-50 problems established in just the past few sessions...

Four problems on the Jubilee boulder:

The weather might be turning, but hopefully a couple more sessions can get squeezed in before the snow forces us to lower elevations...

Cheers
