In the Brickyard

Saturday Hutch and myself sessioned yet another cluster that I have not yet made it to- "The Brickyard." With excellent temps lotsa good stone- we climbed some new stuff, some old stuff and some bold stuff.  We also stumbled upon yet another weird Batholith secret, a Forest Service picnic area in the middle of nowhere for the ATVers complete with a commemoration plaque, fire pit and tables right next to the boulders- I guess we should bring some burgers in next time.

A taste of some of the local delicacies at the Brickyard- sorry for the weak edit software is down.

Proj left of some established lines- simply awesome

Working an old project- that looks easy- but is far from it- super sloppy and slappy

Sneak Peek--"The Lunchroom"

A camera on the fritz yielded only a couple of worthy snaps--Patrick O has the goods for this rad area on his rig :-)

A day in the superbs

A busy day in the Batholith concentrated crews in two area, the Northern Isos and the newish Superbia boulders. Tom and Kalah, Jeremy and Katie, Clay and Podenck, myself and the kids gathered at the Latter. Lyddie and I broke from the pack to her new-named FA pebble, the "Sweet Pea Boulder"

The ever expanding forest

Last weekend Odenbeck took Kevin, Ladd and I on a tour of Superbia, a quality cluster near the Druthers. After a brief walking tour we got warmed up and headed to the Superb Boulder, the main gem of the zone.

Gotta say, Ladd threw down!  I was very impressed by his sends, he got pretty excited by this line on the Superb Boulder and decided it was time to step up...

The Unknown Boulder

On Sunday we headed out in the Boulder Batholith and continued to explore and climb in a zone I don't frequent as much I as I'd like...with so much potential, exploration, and development going on, sometimes certain zones get neglected...though this area has alot of potential...and it seems someone else has also stumbled upon that fact.

During my walkabout I ran into this chalked up, nice looking boulder among the jumbles...

Not sure who found and snagged this one, but if anyone out there does, I'd love to know more! A quality boulder to be sure, and it'd be great to have the proper info.

Cheers!
