The Narwhal

Headed out on Saturday with Odenbeck to meet up with Hutch over at Resort Rocks. I've only kicked around there a couple times, so we went on a walk about while waiting for Hutch. Some decent potential out there, and about 8 new problems...including a very nice arete that Patrick nabbed.
We then went on the hunt for the Narwhal, a boulder that Hutch had stumbled upon a few weeks back...a truly wild feature, a large horizontal jutting roof dagger around 15' long. Something pretty unique in the land of slabs. The hike up to it was a bit long, but worth it. Currently it sits in an undeveloped zone, but as usual, the hillside is packed with fins and potential.

Music is from the new the Scott H Biram album...SHB also happens to be rolling through Missoula on the 12th to play the Palace with Joe Buck Yourself....might have to make my way over to the zoo for that one...

Cheers!

I think that I left my handsaw near that last session zone at the Trestles a few weeks back. If anyone gets there soon, take a peek.

Super dope, I love that first problem it looks a lot like something we did out in Colorado this year we ended up naming horcrux...The crux is at 15 feet then a little less than 10 feet of climbing after that.
