DWS Adventure

I received an interesting call from our buddy Steve regarding DWS potential in Montana...a few weeks later we thought we'd join him out on the water for a day of exploring and some adventurous deep water soloing...

Exploring some not so confidence inspiring rock
Best line of the day and most solid. There are actually a few bolts running up the arete to the left...

Odenbeck exploring higher up

According to Patrick, the rock turns a bit loose up there in the brown...his current high point. w00t!

While the rock is pretty questionable in places, there are a handful of potential lines out there it seems, perhaps more with a bit of cleaning.  A fun day to be sure, and a nice change of pace. Thanks again Steve!

Cheers!

Killer overhanging DWS at Tally Lake in the Flathead...also Stone Hill has nice walls along the reservoir...
