No, not the sniffing kind--the cold and blustery stuff.

So far, the zones that are completely dry on the boulder tops are: Maud S, Rock Resorts, Benchlands, Desert and surroundings.

There is snow on the ground at those areas in shaded and Northern aspects. The last few days of sunshine did wonders for a few areas:-)

We were out climbing yesterday (North Desert) and it was very good conditions. Some snow on the ground, but very little in the Desert proper. I'll post up later today hopefully...

i hope that offer to come out and play was serious, because myself and one or two other missoulians are most likely going to be headed that way. we would be stoked to meet up and check out some of that great looking dry rock. possible???

No problem, Joe--at the very least, I'll be around to steer you to the Zones you desire.

I suspect that Tom and some crew may come over, as well.

Sounds like fun! I should be able to get out to the trailer Friday afternoon or Saturday morning...
